Hopper ballast car model 19-789
Hopper ballast car is special car intended for 1520 mm gauge railway transportation and mechanized discharge of all types of ballast with simultaneous dosing and leveling the ballast on track skeleton during routine maintenance, repairing and railway track lying. The car allows to make uniform discharge of ballast materials by height on all width of ballast prism to one or both sides of track or on the middle of track without covering the rail heads. Brakes - automatic pneumatic with separate bogie braking, manual parking. Running gear - two 2-axle bogies mod. 18-7055 type 2 (under GOST 9246-2013 / DSTU 7530-2014) or other interchangeable models of bogies type 2 (under GOST 9246-2013 / DSTU 7530-2014). Automatic coupler CA-3. The draft friction gear of increased power consumption of class T1.
